Sanduru (often written Sandur) is a town in Bellary District of Karnataka State. Sandur is famous for the 8^th century’s Parvathi Temple built by Badami Chalukyas and 10^th century’s Kumaraswamy Temple built by the Rashtrakutas located on the hills of Swamimalai forest at the altitude of 900  meters mean sea level, which is referred to as Skandadri in Skandapurana.

Sandur is located at 1°N 76.55°E. It has an average elevation of 565 meters (1853 feet)

Sandur, like the surrounding villages of Krishnanagar , Ramgad, Devagiri, Donimalai is set among green mountains, valleys and deep gorges.

The town lies to the south East of Hosapete. It is close to Hampi a world heritage site. The nearest Railway station is Hosapete 28 Kms, Toranagallu 23 Kms, the nearest airport is Jindal Airport 17 Kms away from our campus. The college is located 25 Kms from NH 13, Bangalore – Bijapur highway.

Sandur is famous for its deposits of manganese  and iron ore.  It is surrounded by business mining and steel hubs.

The climate in Sandur is pleasant and cool because of the green mountains and forest, hence known as “Ooty of Karnataka”. Campus surrounded by places like Hampi, Kumaraswamy temple, Bheeema theertha and places of varied interests.
